Privacy Policy
Veruna™ ("we", "us") is a pre-launch comfort apparel brand operating the website at wearveruna.com. This policy explains what we collect when you join our Founding Members waitlist, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.
1. What we collect
When you sign up for the Founding Members waitlist, we ask you for:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Country
- Age range
- Self-reported wellbeing information — including comfort interests (for example joint discomfort, cold sensitivity, heat sensitivity), body areas most affected, and your ranking of product categories you are most excited about
- Optional free-text answers, such as your "dream product" description and whether you would like to take part in testing or a founder interview
2. Health-related information
Some of the information you may choose to share — such as areas of the body where you feel discomfort, or sensitivity to cold or heat — relates to your physical wellbeing. We take this seriously.
We only use this information in aggregate, anonymized form to guide product development — for example, to understand which comfort features our future community cares about most. We do not sell your responses and we do not share individual responses with third parties for marketing or profiling.
3. Legal basis
We process your information on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent checkbox on the waitlist form. You may withdraw that consent at any time (see sections 5 and 6 below). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
4. How your data is stored
Waitlist responses are stored in a managed Postgres database operated by Supabase, with row-level security enabled so that only authorized Veruna™ team members can access identified data. Aggregated, anonymized reporting is used internally for product planning.
5. Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time. Email us at privacy@wearveruna.com from the address you signed up with, and we will remove your record from our database.
6. Unsubscribing from emails
Every email we send you contains an unsubscribe link. Clicking it stops future marketing emails immediately. You can also email privacy@wearveruna.com to be removed.
7. Not a medical service
Veruna™ is a pre-launch research and community project for a comfort apparel brand. It is not a medical service. Nothing on this website is intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
